The Hotel Papageno is an early 20th century building set in Vienna city centre, 700 metres from the State Opera House. The 44 individually decorated guestrooms feature a refined Viennese style, polished wood furnishings and neutral colours. From the airport, guests can take the S-Bahn, which costs five euros and runs every 30 minutes, or the public bus which costs six euros and runs every 20 minutes. Both go to Wien Mitte, where guests can take a taxi (10 euros) direct to the hotel or take the subway U4 / dir.Hütteldorf to Karlsplatz. At Karlsplatz change to line U1/dir.Reumannplatz and go one stop to Taubstummengasse. Alternatively a shuttle bus runs from the Arrivals hall at the airport direct to the hotel and taxis are available outside Arrivals costing between 35 and 40 euros.
